to a budtender.

You don’t need to know anything about cannabis to have a great conversation with our budtenders. They’re trained to meet you exactly where you are.

“I have never tried cannabis before” is one of the most helpful things you can say.

It tells your budtender to start from the basics and recommend lower-dose products. Zero judgement, just better guidance.

Tell them what you want to feel — “relax after work,” “something for a social gathering,” “help sleeping” — they’ll translate that into product. Mention concerns (anxiety, medication, tolerance). Ask about methods beyond smoking.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No appointment needed. KCN is a walk-in dispensary. Just bring your ID and come in during store hours.

What ID do I need to bring?

A valid government-issued photo ID showing you are 21+. Driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. Not expired.

Can I use a credit card?

Cannabis dispensaries in NJ cannot process credit. We accept cash and debit. ATM available on-site.

How much can I buy?

NJ allows adults 21+ to purchase up to 1 oz (28.35 g) of cannabis flower or its equivalent in other forms per transaction.

What if I have never used cannabis before?

That is exactly why we are here. Budtenders trained for first-time users — low-dose recommendations, what to expect, responsible consumption.

Can I smell or see the products before buying?

Yes. Budtenders show product and let you smell flower strains. Part of the experience.

How long does a visit take?

Typical visit 10–20 min. First-timers wanting more guidance: 20–30 min, gives the budtender time to walk you through.

Is there a first-time customer discount?

Yes. We offer first-time visitor deals. Check the deals page or ask your budtender on arrival.

Can I consume cannabis in the store?

No. NJ law prohibits on-site consumption at dispensaries. Use products in a private setting only.

Can I bring a friend who is under 21?

Only 21+ inside the dispensary. Minors cannot enter even when accompanied by an adult.

What if I do not know what I want?

Perfectly fine and very common. Budtenders ask experience level, desired effects, preferences — they guide from there.
